The Cleaning “E’s”

Eco-Friendly

Preserving and protecting the environment is extremely important to TGM Wind TGM prides themselves in continually researching new products and methods to ensure that we are using the most eco-friendly cleaning agents and methods available.

Wind Turbine Cleaning

Currently, TGM uses an FAA and Military approved aircraft cleaner to clean oils, fluids, and natural debris from the turbine. This same cleaning agent is used by the U.S. Military to clean similar waste from their fleet of aircrafts. The chemical is applied in a mist form, and then the chemical along with the dirt and waste is removed with the use of pads and/or rags.

Complete spill containment is provided around the turbine and all contaminated supplies are disposed of at licensed disposal and recycling centers.

Efficiency

TGM’s cleaning services are up to 400% faster than traditional methods currently used due to the implementation of the Bronto aerial work platforms.

On average, a complete tower, nacelle, hub, and blade cleaning will take between 6 – 10 hours to complete, depending upon the conditions of the turbine. TGM’s efficiency minimizes the downtime on each turbine, in turn, cutting lost revenue.

Economical

TGM is aware that the bottom line is extremely important. Fortunately, sacrificing quality in the name of cost is not a problem with TGM, due to our efficient cleaning practices. With TGM, customers have saved 10’s of $1000’s compared to traditional cleaning methods currently available.

Wind Turbine Cleaning

TGM bids cleaning projects on a firm fixed price, meaning a set price per turbine. The customer will not be charged for per diems, mobilization, or weather delays.

TGM “E’s” are the foundation upon which we have built our turbine cleaning packages.
